Recent developments in immunology should permit the creation of new synthetic vaccines and the improvement of old vaccines. All the news vaccine development programs are using adjuvants.

The global vaccine market was estimated at 9.1 billion U.S. dollars in 2004. This market is expected to grow to approximately 42 billion U.S. dollars in 2015. Different vaccination strategies have been developed: naked DNA, protein, peptide, but many of them cannot be used alone, and absolutely required adjuvants.
Patents and other intellectual property rights are an essential element of our business. Wittycell has filed patent applications directed to their main products, as well as to therapeutic uses thereof. The patent portfolio is regularly updated by incorporation of new results and ideas into existing applications and/or by the filing of new separate applications, as appropriate. These initial filings are then extended, within the priority year, by international applications designating the major countries.
