The iNTK activity and adjuvant effect of WTC adjuvants in mice and non human primate have already been well demonstrated using protein, peptide, VLP antigens and commercial vaccines. After further confirmation of the NTK activity induced by WTC ex vivo in humans, Wittycell nominated WTCc as a clinical candidate in 2010 and initiated a full GMP and GLP preclinical package, which will be completed in 2Q2011.
Wittycell has established a wide range of collaborations, including an extensive scientific network, as well as business relationships, in order to optimize the potential of WTC adjuvant usage in vaccines against infectious diseases and cancer.
Wittycell seeks further partnerships to test WTCc and related adjuvants through a Material Transfer Agreement , in your own models and indications. Wittycell offers its collaborators:
• A novel mechanism of adjuvant action via iNKTs leading to the stimulation of innate and adaptive immune responses, in particular the enhancement of cytotoxic activity
• A family of synthetic products with an industrializable manufacturing process
| • A strong IP portfolio with freedom to operate | |
• An extensive scientific academic network to sustain vaccine development
